    Description

Wool WWI era blanket, olive with brown stripes.
    Measures 65" x 83"
    Weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces
"US" stamped in the center.  There also looks like another stamp below it, I can't tell what it is but possibly crossed rifles (?)
Stripes are 8.5" from edge, and 3" (or slightly less) wide
Fabric label on one corner that says: "I. Mill; American Woolen Company of NY; Contract April 7, 1917; Depot Quartermaster, Philadelphia PA."  Name of inspector is faded, can't read it.
Condition - Very good.  There is a small 4mm hole to the right of the "S".  Also, there is some loose threads on 2 of the serged corners.  The color is good, (parts in the first 2 pictures that may look like faded patches are actually sun/shade variations). No fraying, no thinning, no fading, no other holes other than the one mentioned.  No mothball or musty smell noticed, but there is a bit of a dusty smell.  The item was in long term storage in a plastic dry cleaning bag
