    Description

This is a good antique Acoma Pueblo pottery jar with nice full decoration, circa 1920 to 1940s, or so. Pot is 4 1/4" high with a 6 3/4" diameter, and it is in near perfect condition with just one tiny flea bite on the rim. This piece is fully decorated with traditional Acoma geometric and curvilinear designs in black and orange on a white slip ground. It has a double row of triangles on the flat shoulder area, as pictured. It is marked "Acoma, NM" on the bottom, There is a very light fire cloud on one side from the pit firing process. This is an uncommon form to find in Acoma pottery, and it was just found in a good source in New Mexico that has been closed up for years. Shipping is .00 Priority mail. There is a 30 day money back inspection period, and email for more information. Thank you.
