JB Owens Matt Green, Green Ware Vase - As Found (B) RARE
Vintage JB Owens Pottery Vase, in a dark green glaze, circa 1907. The vase has damage that consists of a cut off top
that may have been from someone who was was planning to make it into a lamp.  As a result there is a chip and several flakes.  There is not other damage such as hairlines or repairs.  There are two glaze misses on the base that occurred during the original manufacturing and a popped bubble on the side as seen in the pictures.
Although damaged, it has a a great Arts and Crafts form with a curdled green glaze.   The vase is 12" in height, 6 1/2" in width at its widest point to the outer edges of the handles and has a base diameter of 2 3/4" and a rim diameter of 1".   I have another one just like it with the top also cut off with additional damage that I have listed separately.

We primarily ship items by USPS for a flat fee (shipping and insurance) domestically. Insurance is provided by Auctiva and does not reflect in the USPS shipping price.
