    Description

    This is a Stanley No. 34V machinists level with the original box in good condition.
    This level appears to be in mint condition with no rust, decay or flaking to the nickel finish.  I suspect there may be an issue with the inner level housing.  The housing is not tight on the two end caps and the whole thing spins, not just the protection cap.  Other levels I've handled don't move this way and the inner tube is tight to the end caps.
    I believe any issues would be easily corrected by a knowledgeable person but that's not me; I just wiped it off and photographed it.
    I have not taken this apart as it's a bit over my head and I don't want to ruin it.  The bubble vial is in excellent condition with no issues as is the base of the level, nearly pristine.  As I don't really know much about these and don't want to mislead, I've listed this as good condition.
    The box shows extensive wear and there is a repair to one end.  The V model has a milled base for placement on round stock (pipes etc.).
