WW1 US Marine Small Hook Rug

ONE OF A KIND,  a World War One 2nd Division, 2nd Ambulance Corp Rug, made in 1919.  This wonderful hand made piece of art which may be considered even in the Folk Art Range.  The veteran whose name is Lovejoy and served with the 2nd Army and was an ambulance Corps driver and served 3 years and was well decorated.  His medals are depicted on the Hook rug as shown and includes the Purple Heart, 4 bar Campaign/battle medal, Victory Medal and others.  The colors are vivid and the rug is wonderful condition for being more than 100 years of age.  It would look great framed or simple hanged as it is 29 1/2 by 29 1/2 inches in size.  Will not ship internationally.
